Very fine and rare, it exhibits wonderful mid-century design with its sculpted case and timeless silver dial.
Originally intended for men, this boys size watch measures 23mm wide excluding the crown by 32mm long and is well suited for someone with small wrists.
It is fully Rolex down to the winding crown and presents beautifully on the wrist.
Powering it is its very fine and early original Rolex handwound movement with Super Balance system, which gives it a very vintage feel. Photos of the inside available upon request.

The case is better than near mint. It has a strong hallmark and clearly retains all of the original stampings on the back. The back has light remnants of scratches and wear and one short scratch on the top of the right hand lug - otherwise on the wrist it presents as just short of mint.
The dial was previously restored and is bright and clean.
One of our watchmakers has just freshly disassembled the watch down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed a correct new-old-stock crystal. It is very clean and keeping accurate time.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a new lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
