It is nice and larger than most similar dress watches from the era - it measures 36mm without the crown - the same size as a mens Rolex Datejust. Powering it is Omega's thin automatic, 24 jewel caliber 711 movement (seven more than in many Omegas versions from the period).
The 700 series has a direct lineage to the celebrated 500 series, and is arguably as good, and collectors are beginning to recognize it accordingly. It was the last very fine movement series of its kind before Omega began to make budget cuts because of the quartz revolution.
It has just finished being restored with a true expertly done restoration. It presents as about a 9.7 out of 10 condition. Its dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
