The diamonds on the bezel are near flawless - white, extremely clean, and full of fire as you would expect from a watch of this caliber.
Its original Piaget bracelet was done in a fabulous braided rope motif with gorgeously hand-decorated by Piaget throughout both of its top and bottom surfaces. It is quite ornate - a joy to look at under magnification. One can only imagine the time one of Piaget's master jewelers spent crafting it.
To power the watch Piaget used its award-winning 9P2 handwound movement, a fitting engine for a watch this fine and the mechanism they often used to power their finest mens watches. The 9P2 is famous for being one of the thinnest movements ever made. The second iteration of the world's first ultra-thin timekeeping mechanism, this incredible feat of engineering measures just over 2mm thick, about the thickness of a U.S. half dollar! Despite its small size, it sacrifices nothing in performance, having earned a reputation as one of the most refined and reliable ultra-slim mechanisms.
When it comes to ladies watches, the focus is normally much more directed to what's on the outside of the watch than what's on the inside. But not with this watch...its engine would make most men's watches jealous.
It is all original, including its two tiny case screws, which are often lost and replaced during a servicing for these watches.
